Commercial concrete work can be functional and decorative
IEI General Contractors offers a level of expertise in commercial concrete work that is rare within the general contracting world, performing this service in-house with five of the finest cement finishers in northeast Wisconsin.
IEI’s crews have the skills to deliver quality on virtually any scale, including large private storage yards, driveways and parking lots used by the public, along with specialty and decorative projects. This versatility gives us the ability to complete all of your commercial concrete work under one billing.
Quality commercial concrete work enhances first impressions
Commercial concrete work sometimes plays second fiddle to the focus placed on buildings in the grand scope of construction projects, but it can make a huge difference in final appearance and functionality. Our crews understand the importance of high-quality commercial concrete work and its role in your operations.
L&W Supply — IEI crews replaced a critical 26,000-square-foot driveway and storage yard for the Green Bay building supplies business. Commercial concrete work often needs to take place with minimal impact to ongoing operations, and this project was a good example as all traffic in and out of the L&W Supply property uses this entrance.
We removed the existing blacktop, fixed the subgrade, then formed and poured a six-inch concrete pad. Our team completed this concrete work in six phases to allow L&W Supply to maintain operations.
Chick-fil-A — IEI worked with the city of Appleton and Chick-fil-A on commercial concrete work that featured a driveway system that allowed traffic flow while not blocking off College Avenue or the frontage road.
The project involved approximately 16,000 square feet of driveway work and more than 2,000 linear feet of curb and gutter. This commercial concrete work also enabled the restaurant to maintain regular operations.
Appleton North High School — This project involved resurfacing the area around the football and baseball concession stands from asphalt to concrete, and adding decorative concrete at the front entrances of both stadiums, featuring the school logo stamped into one of the cakes of concrete.
Joannes Skatepark — Joannes Park in Green Bay hosts a spectacular facility for skateboarders to hone their skills. This non-traditional commercial concrete work earned the Best Flat Cement Project award from the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers.
