Medalcraft Mint has produced stunningly accurate reproductions of faces, logos and animals for a wide range of commemoratives. So when the Oak Creek, Wisconsin, Police Department requested a custom coin for its officers that would feature the eagle statue that stands proudly outside of its headquarters, our design team was up for the task.
Working off nothing more than photographs supplied by the Oak Creek Police Department, the Medalcraft team completed the nickel-silver coin measuring 1.75 inches in diameter and .144 inches thick. The front of the coin features the Oak Creek Police Department’s seal, with the eagle highlighting the reverse side against an American flag backdrop.
