Medalcraft Mint answered the prayers of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn with its ability to create custom religious medallions from an image of a ceiling mural in a cathedral. The Diocese of Brooklyn, which serves 1.5 million Catholics in Brooklyn and Queens, had previously struggled to find a mint that could accurately portray the mural to its satisfaction.
The design team at Medalcraft Mint worked off the photograph to create a proof of what the end product would look like. After obtaining customer approval, the die engravers successfully brought the mural to life with a multi-layer 3D die.
Medalcraft Mint’s production team then used the die to stamp the image into 550 solid brass medallions, and specially branded packaging to display the religious medallions. It created a finishing touch that elevated the satisfaction level of the diocesan team.
The entire production time spanned just three weeks, and the end result was an extremely satisfied customer who quickly ordered 100 more religious medallions after receiving the initial order.
